Music video completion blog

 So my music video is finished. It’s been a bit of a process. I did run into a few problems. all in all, it was nothing that couldn’t be fixed. I’m happy with my decision to use two girls as actors. I think that it makes a difference. when I think of others who probably used two girls as a love interest I don’t think it would be many. I like that they were able to get into the role. There was a bit of laughing but that’s to be expected. It was really the editing process it took me more than any other. The days it took me to do that will work that though because it came out nice. there was a multitude of angles in this project. This is something that wasn’t as seen in my previous projects. I think that it shows growth. This project really was a turning point for me. Yes, it took longer, but it came out better. This is something that I can be proud of. My actors were great, the editing process is great, the end result was great. I have learned that taking extra time can really impact the project. The work got done, and I’m proud of what I and my friends did.  I appreciated their creative comments on how to make my video better. At the end of the day, it was my concept but it was influenced by their ideas.

 So at this point, I'm 100% sure of my song choice. I know I'm not the only one by Sam Smith is my final decision, no changing it now. As my storyboard shows, I'm not the best artist. In this blog, I will take the time to detail each of the 12 squares. Each of the scenes is only in 2 locations, so I can't foresee a problem with filming.  Hello! My name is Madison Riggs. I am an 11th-grade student and I currently attend Fort Lauderdale Highschool. I am 16, turning 17 in November, and that's something I'm quite looking forward to. I participate in the Marching Band as well as Symphonic Winds. I have played the flute since the third grade. I also play piccolo and a bit of piano, and I enjoy using my time making music. I would consider band my number one hobby but along with that, I have 2 dogs I love spending time with. Zephyrhills filming commercial blog

 Throughout the filming of my commercial, I ran into a multitude of problems that put me behind schedule. The weather was bad, which I had planned for, but I still wanted to keep the main concept of my commercial. In order to do this, I had to push the filming date back until the weather was more suitable. To begin the filming process, I took the shots I could do from home. The backyard shot, as well as the slow-motion scene showcasing the water, was done first. I shot each scene on my iPhone. The next step, was the beach scene as it was the furthest away so I wanted to get it done. The process was short, as I only did three takes, incorporating a selection of angles for me to chose from. The next scene I shot at was the park. I found a small park next to my house filled with natural light. I felt this was the perfect place to make my shot look like in incorporated nature. Once again, it was a short and simple process. I did about 5 takes here, so I would have options for my final cut.
