Final Task !

Below is my final task. I feel accomplished having finally finished. I hope you have as much fun watching it as I did making it.

Production Blog: CCR planning

The time has come! I have successfully completed the filming and editing. Such relief I must say. Now comes the time where I must plan my reflection. From what I understand it has to be a video. I wish to do a self-interview. I will more than likely break the video up by the question. This will mean I will have multiple videos. It will likely be a get ready with me type of video. This means I will be getting ready to go as I talk about my project and answer the questions on film. These videos are quite common in the modern-day influencer world. I think it's the best choice because it's the easiest way to answer the questions and still be entertaining. I don't want to sit and stare directly into the camera for 15 minutes. This way at least it will be something to watch. In addition to answering the questions, I plan to detail my thought process. That is if time allows. I can easily use 15 minutes to talk about the making of this film. Especially because I had such a late st

I have finished filming every scene. I started editing today. So far it’s not too bad. I had to pick a new format for the titles, unfortunately. The program I was using was not compatible. So instead of what I was planning, the title font is much more simple. It still keeps with the conventions of a normal horror film.    It’s a red color. This adds a horror element in my opinion. It is a lot more simple than what I wanted. It may take a minute for me to get all the titles edited in. I want to pick the right moments. The intro isn’t too long so it’s important I have the titles set up in scenes that are compatible. I want the film intro to flow. This is what I will be working on for the rest of the week. I have a few days before the due date so I want to make sure it’s perfect. Within the next 3 days, I will be done. Then I can begin my ccr. The next blog will detail the planning of my reflection. Then my final project will be finished!

Production Blog: End of Filming

I have finished filming. This clearly took the longest. Now I can start the easy part. The editing. This will be easy because of the endless planning. I have been provided with the order of titles. I have designed my fonts. All that is left is for me to actually edit the footage together. This will be easy with the help of my storyboard. My storyboard was pretty much shot in order. That makes it easier as well. I feel as if this was the longest process. But that is my own fault. The late start to filming really pushed back my timeline. As long as I’m ahead of the due date then I guess it’s all okay. I plan to begin the actual editing tonight. If I am adamant it can be done by tomorrow. That still leaves a bit of leeway before the due date. Finally, I’m approaching the end. How exciting, the final project!

The filming went as expected. I got the outside scenes done. This includes most of the actual abduction scenes. It took about an hour. Now I need the inside scenes. These will need to be filmed another day. My plan is maybe later in the week. I don’t think it will take much time. Then I can begin to edit. What I need to do is write out the titles. This will let me plan the placement. I already know how they will look. This will take care of pretty much the entire project. Then I can quickly edit the titles into the scenes. A very simple process. I will finish filming later this week. Probably Friday will be the best day. It’s the home stretch. One of the benefits of planning to such an extent. This project was easy to execute because I knew exactly how I want things.

Production blog: Start to Filming

Today is the day I start filming. I'm writing this before because I have a full day ahead. I plan to start in the outside locations as there will still be sunlight. If I do it as the sun is going down, it will create darker lighting. This could be good as it adheres to common traits of horror films. Darker lighting creates more of an ominous mood. This is just one idea. It's important to me to keep some of the common elements. This is why the villain will be easy to spot. I also have thought more about the music I wish to add. I don't want to go through the trouble of asking for permission as most released songs are copyrighted. For this reason, I plan to use a free soundtrack. This soundtrack will have an ominous, yet fast-paced sound. Almost as if it will represent adrenaline rushing through the body. My actor will be a teenage girl. She will represent vulnerability. The kidnapper will represent predatory behavior. This is my base plan. My next production blog will detai
